The Ghana Education Service (GES) has duly opened the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) portal for the selection of schools for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates into Senior High Schools (SHS) for the current year.
The School Selection Portal has been opened by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for both BECE School and Private Candidates to enable them select schools online for placement into Senior High Schools nationwide.

This is as announced in a statement issued by the Director of Schools and Instructions Division Patty E. Assan.
For the exercise to be undertaken efficiently, Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education are to form teams of IT Teachers/Data Entry Officers to support the Examination Coordinators do the entries of the candidates choices to avoid errors in the entries from the schools.
